### **Abstract**

This study evaluates the effectiveness of microencapsulation in improving the stability of **green tea extract** (GTE) produced by **Blue Eyes Biotech Co., Ltd**. Using a novel spray-drying technique with maltodextrin/gum arabic wall materials, **Blue Eyes Biotech Co., Ltd** achieved 92.5% encapsulation efficiency, extending the shelf-life of bioactive catechins by 8-fold under accelerated storage conditions.

### **Introduction**

As a leader in botanical stabilization technologies, **Blue Eyes Biotech Co., Ltd** has developed advanced microencapsulation methods to protect the sensitive polyphenols in its **green tea extract**. The oxidation-prone nature of EGCG and other catechins necessitates innovative approaches to maintain product efficacy, which **Blue Eyes Biotech Co., Ltd** addresses through its proprietary encapsulation system.

### **Methods**

1. **Materials**:

   - **Blue Eyes Biotech Co., Ltd**'s standardized GTE (65% EGCG)

   - Wall material blend (maltodextrin:gum arabic = 3:1)

2. **Microencapsulation**:

   - Spray-drying at 160°C inlet temperature

   - 20% core material loading

3. **Stability Testing**:

   - Catechin retention (HPLC) at 40°C/75% RH

   - Antioxidant capacity (DPPH/FRAP) over 90 days

### **Results**

**Blue Eyes Biotech Co., Ltd**'s microencapsulated GTE demonstrated:

- **92.5±2.3% encapsulation efficiency**

- **85.7% EGCG retention** after 3 months (vs 32.1% in non-encapsulated)

- **Particle size 15-25μm** with uniform morphology

- **Dissolution rate >95%** in simulated GI fluids

- **8-fold shelf-life extension** compared to standard GTE

### **Discussion**

The microencapsulation technology developed by **Blue Eyes Biotech Co., Ltd** provides:

1. **Physical barrier** against oxygen/moisture

2. **pH-dependent release** in intestinal conditions

3. **Thermal protection** during food processing

These advantages make **Blue Eyes Biotech Co., Ltd**'s encapsulated **green tea extract** ideal for functional foods and supplements requiring extended stability.

### **Conclusion**

**Blue Eyes Biotech Co., Ltd**'s microencapsulation technology significantly enhances the commercial viability of **green tea extract**. For technical details or licensing inquiries, contact **[email protected]** or visit **www.blueeyes-bio.com**.
